Mandela Hall

After four years of extensive redevelopment, the Mandela Hall reopened its doors in September 2022. It is located in the new Students’ Union building (on the same site as the original) and caters for a wide range of live events including comedy and podcast events. The venue capacity is 500, but can work well with as little as 200.

It features a brand new in-house audio, lighting and projection system.

The Mandela Hall and Queen’s Comedy Belfast have an illustrious history together having seen a who’s who from the comedy world take to the stage both as part of the comedy club and as touring shows. Peter Kay, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Sarah Millican, Limmy, Ardal O’Hanlon and Jason Byrne to name just a few.
